I went through cemeteries in Europe and then went looking and found my relatives in Sweden. I also used to go to the old cemetery on beach drive in Victoria to gaze at headstones. Fascinating to wonder about these people who were here before us. My other habit was reading obituaries when we had newspapers. I miss reading those. I find it so interesting to read about people’s lives and matching it with the (usually) elderly photo of them. I like it when they have the young and old photo of the people side by side. It’s sobering to know that will be us one day. (If we’re lucky enough to live to a ripe old age.)

It's why I still get the newspaper in print. There's something honoring about reading people's obituaries. I know you'd read mine dear friend.

Honestly, I did not go trough Anticipatory grief, but some people told me they were up to a case of sadness and then something happens. I believe that.
